212.* * * 可能很多同学面临这样的问题,其实可以用国内账户提供证明,只要是你的名字三个月以上就可以了,我发信问过home office,现在在公司打不开私人信箱,大家pm提醒我晚上回家发给大家看看。
下面是回信
Dear ×××,
Thank you for your email.
Will funds held in a bank account overseas be accepted as evidence of Maintenance (Funds)?
Yes, funds held in a bank account overseas will be considered as evidence of funds providing the applicant is able to supply satisfactory evidence as specified in the Tier 1 (General) policy guidance. Where the funds held in the overseas account are demonstrated in foreign currency then Assessing officers will convert the amount to pounds sterling using the closing spot rate which appears on http://www.oanda.com based on the date of the bank statement.
How many pieces of evidence should applicants provide to demonstrate they meet the Maintenance (Funds) requirement?
Applicants should ensure that they provide evidence that covers the total amount of funds required, over the entire 3 month period immediately preceding their application. This may take the form of a single specified document covering the full amount of funds for the 3 month period. Alternatively a combination of specified documents are also acceptable provided that together they cover the full amount of funds for the 3 month period required.
Each application we receive is assessed on its own merits by caseworkers who consider all the supporting evidence supplied. As such the Customer Contact Centre is unable to provide any pre-assessments of individual Tier 1 (General) applications and related criteria queries. The decision on whether certain documentation will be acceptable will only be made when the application is submitted.
We advise that applicants make full use of the guidance notes and other information available (e.g. websites) when addressing the questions on the application form in order to provide as much relevant information as they can. This will enable the assessment teams to make a prompt decision.
Further comprehensive details and guidance notes about the Tier 1 (General) category and Work Permits can be found on the Work Permits website - http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk.
I hope this is helpful,
