Company description: Currencies Direct is one of Europe’s largest independent foreign exchange specialists, and was one of the first to recognise the need in the market for an expert secondary foreign exchange provider to traditional banks. Duration: 3 months

Allowance: travel and lunch allowance

Main Responsibilities:
• Working closely with Chinese businesses
• Explain how company’s service works to Chinese speaking people
• Guide Chinese companies through a registration process and confirm Chinese documents (e.g. id documents) sent by clients contain the information required
• The person will learn about the Fx markets and may even be involved with negotiating rates with Chinese companies


Knowledge and Skills Required:
• Internship is full-time (at least 4 days week)
• Fluent in Mandarin Chinese
• Excellent English skills both written and oral
• Excellent telephone manner
• Flexible work times (China time zones) may be a requirement
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT)
• Good organisational and planning skills
